🖥️Web App & Extensions

Set up the Solflare browser extension for Chrome, Brave, Edge, Firefox, Opera, and Arc: create a wallet, connect a Ledger or Keystone, or import a wallet.

The Solflare browser extension is the recommended way to use Solflare on a computer. It is a self-custody Solana wallet that runs in Chrome, Brave, Edge, Firefox, Opera, and Arc, and Solana apps connect to it directly. Install it from the Chrome Web Store, or find the right version for your browser on the Solflare download page.

Why use the extension

The extension keeps your encrypted wallet inside your own browser profile and asks you to approve every connection and transaction in a Solflare pop-up. That makes it harder for a fake website to impersonate your wallet. Install it only from the official store links on the Solflare download page, and check that the publisher is Solflare.

Ways to set up the extension

  • Create a new wallet with Quick Login (Google sign-in) or with a recovery phrase you store yourself.

  • Connect a Ledger hardware wallet over USB.

  • Connect a Keystone hardware wallet by scanning a QR code.

  • Import an existing Solana wallet with a recovery phrase, private key, or Keystore file.
